Shooting camper Bob Labadini works on POWER SHOOTING with the help of a shooting trainer. Illustrated here is the follow through with full extension as the camper transfers body weight from his back to front foot.
Over Goal Drill: By shooting over one lacrosse goal into another, you will learn to extend your arms to develop velocity on your shot.
Part the shoot-on-the-run development, Friar Camper executes the SPLIT-ONE STEP shot on the run technique, which is designed to help shooters get up on their front leg for more power on the run. A major advantage of the shooting camp is that it runs concurrent with the Goalie Tech Camp.
Shooters and goalies are developed at the same time with similar situations of shooting, and then come together to drill the concepts in CROSSOVER SHOOTING SESSIONS.
GOALIE VS. SHOOTER GAME
Campers compete in the GOALIE VS. SHOOTER CHALLENGE GAME. Yes, a full field game with a team of goalies competing against the team of shooters. No, shooters, we won’t stick you in the goal, you get to draft the goalie you want on your team!
