Check in/out times
Check in times for these camps is 12 noon on the first day the camp. Both commuter and overnight campers check in at 2 pm. Check in location will be a dorm (TBA check here 1 week prior to camp start date) on the Campus of Providence College.
Check out times for all overnight camps is 3:30pm on the last day of the camp for both commuter and overnight campers.
Commuter pick up/drop off
Evening pick up for commuters on all days except check out day is 8 pm at the turf field.
Commuter camper drop off time for all days except check-in day is 7:45 am at the Dorm (will be specified later)
Program on the Rise
Portland and Buffalo
Day 1: Drop off is at TBA and Pick up is at TBA
Day 2: Drop off is at 9am and Pick up is at TBA
Day 3: Drop off is at 9am and Pick up is at 3:30pm
Information for
Friar Mini Camp
Drop off is at the Turf field and Peterson Rec Center Lobby at 8:30 am on August 12th. Pickup is same day at 4:30pm.
Lunch is not provided but there is an on campus dining facility that takes cash.
Airports: the closest airport is TF Green in Providence (PVD)
about a 15 min.
It is possible to use Boston Logen but that is 60 minuetes by car away from campus.
Train: The downtown station in Providence is located just 5 min from the campus.
What to bring?
Overnight Campers should bring:
bedding
bathroom supplies including towel and soap/shampoo
a fan
lacrosse equipment including mouth piece and shoes for turf and grass
cloths for down time and swim time
Cash deposit for Camp Bank (all store purchases will be done thru the bank so there is no money exchanged at the point of sale)
DO NOT BRING - these items are not allowed in the dorms
air conditioning units
